FAQ

Questions, answered.

Short, honest answers to what people ask us most.

WrapRight lets you upload a photo of your vehicle and preview different wrap ideas before committing to a real installation.

It is designed to help car owners and wrap shops quickly explore designs and visualize how a wrap could look on a real vehicle.

No. A clear smartphone photo works great.

For best results:
• Take the photo in daylight
• Avoid heavy shadows
• Step back far enough to capture the full side of the vehicle

No. WrapRight is a visualization tool, not a print production tool.

Your wrap shop will still create the final print-ready artwork and installation templates.

Both.

• Car owners use WrapRight to explore ideas before visiting a wrap shop.
• Wrap shops use it as a sales and visualization tool during customer consultations.

WrapRight currently supports:

• Real vinyl swatches from brands like 3M and Avery Dennison
• Curated custom pattern packs such as camo, flames, and other creative designs

Our pattern library will continue to grow over time.

Yes.

You can upload your own wrap patterns and use them directly on your vehicle previews.

Uploaded patterns are saved in your Custom Packs library so you can reuse them anytime.

Use Standard if you want the best balance of speed and value. It costs 1 credit and works well for most previews.

Use Pro if you want the highest-quality preview, especially for more complex wraps, detailed patterns, or when you want the strongest presentation to show a wrap shop. Pro costs 2 credits because it uses a more advanced rendering process.

A simple rule of thumb:

• Use Standard when exploring ideas or testing multiple designs
• Use Pro when you want the best possible final preview.

A credit is used to generate a wrap preview.

Most previews use 1 credit when you choose Standard mode.
If you choose Pro mode, the preview uses 2 credits because it runs on a more advanced rendering process.

If WrapRight automatically retries or improves a preview behind the scenes because the first result did not properly change the vehicle, you are not charged extra for that improvement. You are only charged based on the mode you selected.

Credits work the same whether they come from your subscription plan or Pay-As-You-Go purchases.

Credits are used when a preview is generated, not based on whether you decide to save or keep the design afterward.

A preview costs 2 credits only when you intentionally choose Pro mode.

Pro uses a more advanced rendering process that produces higher-quality results and costs more for WrapRight to run.

If WrapRight automatically retries or improves a preview behind the scenes because the first result was not good enough, you are not charged extra. You are only charged based on the mode you selected.

Preview time mostly depends on the render mode being used.

Standard previews are typically faster and are designed for quickly testing colors and wrap ideas.

Pro previews take longer because they use a more advanced rendering process to produce higher-quality results.

In some cases, WrapRight may also retry a preview automatically if the first attempt did not properly change the appearance of the vehicle. When that happens, the preview may take a little longer, but you are not charged extra for that automatic improvement.

If WrapRight detects that the preview did not meaningfully change the appearance of your vehicle, the system automatically attempts a stronger render behind the scenes.

This helps ensure you receive a usable preview even if the first attempt was not successful. You are not charged extra for this automatic improvement step.

When you run out of credits, you will not be able to generate new previews until you:

• purchase Pay-As-You-Go credits
• or upgrade your plan

Your existing designs will remain available.

Pay-As-You-Go credits are additional credits you can purchase anytime.

Unlike subscription credits:
• They never expire
• They do not reset monthly

They remain in your account until used.

If you have a subscription, WrapRight will use your monthly credits first.

Once those run out, it will automatically use your Pay-As-You-Go credits.

Your subscription credits reset on your billing anniversary date each month.

You can check your next reset date in your account under Billing & Plans.

If you also have Pay-As-You-Go credits, those do not reset monthly and stay in your account until used.

Your billing anniversary date is the monthly date tied to when your subscription started.

That date is used for your monthly credit reset and subscription renewal timing.

You can see your upcoming reset date in your account under Billing & Plans.

If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period.

You can cancel your subscription at any time.

Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period, after which your account will return to the Free plan.

Cancelling your subscription will not delete your saved projects or designs.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Your plan will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Unused subscription time is not prorated or refunded.

Pay-As-You-Go credits do not expire and are non-refundable once purchased.

If you believe there was a billing mistake, please contact support and we will review the issue.

Yes.

Your uploads and generated previews are private by default and only visible inside your account.

Nothing is shared publicly unless you choose to share it in the future.

We are actively expanding WrapRight beyond wrap previews.

Some features on our roadmap include:

• AI-generated custom wrap patterns
• Wheel / rim customization
• Window tint previews
• Paint color simulations
• Wrap cost estimation tools
• Finding local wrap shops
• Community sharing of wrap designs
• Affiliate programs and creator tools

Yes - this is a feature we are working on.

You will be able to describe a wrap pattern idea, and AI will generate pattern previews for you. Once you approve a design, it will be saved to your Custom Packs library so you can apply it to your vehicle previews.

These generated patterns will belong to you only and will not appear in the public library unless you choose to share them in the future.
